Quran Teachers Training Course Held in India

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An educational course for Quran teachers in India was organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in New Delhi, the South Asian country’s capital.

 

 

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the 3-day course was taught by Amir Baqer, an Iranian Qari and Quran expert.

50 Indian Quran teachers took the course, which was held in cooperation with the Sadat Mozaffar Negar School.

Teaching the principles of Tajweed was the main theme of the intensive course.

During his stay in India, the Iranian Qari also attended different Quranic programs in Kashmir, recited the Quran and delivered speeches on the basic principles of Quran reading.

Imam Ali (AS) mosque in Sadat town, the mosque of Sunni Muslims in Zariwal, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) Mosque in Srinagar, the Husseiniyah of Islamic Sciences in Srinagar, Shias’ mosque in Srinagar and Imam Ali (AS) mosque in Zalpour hosted the Quranic sessions with the participation of the Iranian Qari.

Amir Baqer was dispatched to India by ICRO’s International Center of Dissemination during the holy month of Ramadan.
