Palestine A Symbol of Islamic Unity, Resistance: Senior Cleric
“The forces of the resistance axis are changing their tactics of resistance against the Zionist enemy, and the truth is that ‘The time of defeats has gone and the time for victories has come”, Ayatollah Ali Reza A’arafi said.
He delivered a speech at the international congress, which was held online on Tuesday, ahead of the International Quds Day.
“Today, all standards have shifted, and the Zionist regime has become weaker than before, as the Zionist interior is under the fire of the resistance that reached the Negev desert and its factories and internal fortifications, which had claimed were safe from all dangers,” Ayatollah A’arafi added.

In the name of Allah, the all compassionate the most merciful
All Praises be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and the best of prayers and peace be upon the Seal of the Prophets Muhammad and upon his good and pure family and his chosen companions
Why should you not fight in the way of Allah and the oppressed men, women, and children, who say, ‘Our Lord, bring us out of this town whose people are oppressors, and appoint for us a guardian from Yourself, and appoint for us a helper from Yourself’? (Nisa':75)
Dear brothers and sisters
Peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you
First, I would like to offer my best wishes to all brothers and sisters, the honorable scholars, the resistance fighters and the Mujahideen who defend the sanctities of the Islamic Ummah, Palestine and our first Qiblah, in my name and in the name of the Islamic seminaries in the Islamic Republic of Iran and in the name of the World Conference of Al-Quds Al-Sharif with my best greetings and I ask God Almighty to accept your fasting And your worship in this blessed month, as I hope that all of us will see the liberation of Al-Quds, by which God will cherish Islamic Ummah and humiliate Infidels and hypocrites.
Dear friends, especially the loyal youth in the Islamic world
If we want to understand what is happening now, we have to recall and remember what happened in the past. Within more than seven decades, when the arrogance of the usurper Zionist got to the point that it aspired to occupy the lands of the Islamic world from the Nile to the Euphrates River in order to be ruled by a brutal and unjust Zionist authority, to control the fate of our lands in order to enjoy the power of oppression as well as working on geographical expansion, thus they built a lethal and ruthless military force to allow them to wreak corruption on the land;
But what countered this aggression against the Islamic world was the spirit of jihad, the awakening of the faithful scholars, and the fatwas that were issued to fight the occupation in Palestine and all parts of the Islamic world, and this resistance continues until the final victory and the uprooting of the Zionist cancer from the Islamic holy lands.
And every year and on the anniversary of the International Day of Al-Quds announced by Imam Khomeini (may God bless his soul), we must remember our brothers, our sisters, women, children, and all those who fell martyrs in order to defend Al-Aqsa and Palestine, just as we must not forget displaced Palestinian people in all countries, those who live yearning to return to their homeland, and this right will not lapse, no matter how long the occupation lasts.
Since that time, all this crime has been taking place under the eyes of the world and with the support of the great powers and the collusion of some Arab and Islamic regimes with the Zionist enemy. Whereas in the past, the owners of this betrayer approach practiced normalization under the table, but they showed their truth and began the public normalization and applause for the Zionists by opening of embassies in the Arab countries while they forgetting the displaced people of Palestine, declaring without hesitation that the Zionists should have their own homeland in the occupied lands.
Any of you who allies with them is indeed one of them. Indeed Allah does not guide the wrongdoing lot
But ... O honorable brothers and sisters; Soon these traitors and their masters will regret their betrayal, and this is God’s promise:
Yet you see those in whose hearts is a sickness rushing to them, saying, ‘We fear lest a turn of fortune should visit us.’ Maybe Allah will bring about a victory, or a command from Him, and then they will be regretful for what they kept secret in their hearts
As we have now clearly witnessing a change in equations, while Palestine has turned into a symbol of Islamic unity and resistance, the forces of the resistance axis are changing their tactics of resistance against the Zionist enemy, and the truth is that the expression " The time of defeats has gone and the time for victories has come" has been manifested. If we were previously witnessing the transformation of the tanks of the Zionist army, which they claimed would not be defeated, into the carriers of the remains of soldiers, today resistance's missiles rain down Zionist's vital places and infrastructure, and there is no doubt that these are the signs of the resistance's victories, which will restore ummah dignity and glory.
Today, all standards have shifted, and the Zionist regime has become weaker than before, as the Zionist interior is under the fire of the resistance that reached the Negev desert and its factories and internal fortifications, which had claimed were safe from all dangers.
Today, after all these victories and strategic changes, new conspiracies have begun as a result of the U.S and Zionist arrogance, which ignored all international covenants, United Nations and Security Council statements, which are striking the infrastructure and killing scholars of Muslim countries, until the bombing of targets inside the Syrian territories, Whereas, some Arab countries took the initiative to allow the Zionist embassies to open on their lands, completely subduing the normalization plans.
While the Americans and the Zionists were expecting the weakening of the axis of resistance by the martyrdom of Major General Hajj Qassim Soleimani as the strongest charismatic and military figure threatening the existence of their usurping entity, but today we clearly see the fruits of his pure blood, as we are at the next historical turning point that its features herald the victories will coming soon.
among the signs of this victory is the reaching of the missiles from the Axis of Resistance to the Dimona, when the Patriot and Iron doom failed and turned into mock domes in exchange for resistance missiles.
Since the victory of the Islamic revolution and the establishment of the Islamic Republic in Iran, the leadership, government and people have called for defending the rights of the Palestinian people, and this call was based on principles, beliefs and Islamic jurisprudence, which declared support for the oppressed and confront the oppressors, and this is what the constitution states.
We affirm once again that there is only one of two solutions for this issue, based on reality and guaranteed by sound logic, religious teachings and international principles, as well as the dignity of free peoples:
The first solution: It is what the Islamic Republic of Iran presented in a civilized initiative by leader of the Islamic revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, guarantees the rights of all Palestinian people from all religions and sects. that all the original people of Palestine to determine their destiny based on the principle of the right to self-determination declared according to the United Nations charters, and we are confident that this solution will lead to the formation of a Palestinian state on all Palestinian lands as well as the trial of all Zionist criminals for their crimes in the past decades.
The second solution: It is the jihad and resistance based on the principles of reason and common sense and the basis of legitimate defense against the occupier for all the Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese people with the support of all Muslim countries and the Islamic nation. This solution is also guaranteed by all international conventions and United Nations laws as well as it is natural for the people of every nation to resist against those who occupy their land and sanctities, and from this point of view, all Islamic countries must bear the responsibility to provide all kinds of support to the Palestinian people in their resistance against the occupying Zionist enemy.
We also consider it the duty of the Islamic people to demand states and organizations do the following:
1) To cut all economic, commercial and cultural relations with Israel and banning its products;
2) To cut political relations, close Israeli embassies;
3) Abandoning the shame resulting from normalization and opening embassies of the Zionists on Muslim lands;
4) Financial and economic support for the resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and other Islamic countries;
5) Leaving all the hidden and public negotiations with Israel;
6) Demanding to pressure all countries to cut ties and refuse to support Israel;
7) Putting aside all kinds of disputes, starting by sectarian and religious ones to political and so on.
8) The explicit expression of rejection of all types and forms of normalization;
9) The official declaration of Al-Quds Day as an international day in all countries of the world;
10) The right to return Syria to its seat in the League of Arab States
The Islamic seminaries in the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the Islamic teachings in the Noble Qur’an and the Noble Prophet’s Sunnah, and following their great religious authorities and leadership represented by the eminence of the Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, believe that the solution is the unity of the Islamic world in order to confront the conspiracies of the enemies.
We should also mention and extend my sincere thanks for the positions of the supreme religious authority, His Eminence, Ayatollah Sistani, in his meeting with the Pope and his assertion of the rights of the oppressed people of Palestine, thus we reiterate our assertion that the Islamic seminaries based on Islamic teachings and the guidance of the supreme religious authorities consider that the defense of Palestine, Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa is a legitimate religious duty, and its validity will not end as long as there is an occupation of the Holy Land.
Everyone should join hands for the resistance and jihad, and based on that, we call on the Islamic Ummah to work with the following proposals:
First: We demand that all our brothers and sisters to work for Islamic unity.
Second: We reiterate our demand from everyone about the rejection of disputes and discrimination and the establishment of Islamic dialogue.
Third: We affirm the rejection of the types of fanaticism, violence and extremism.
Fourth: We warn against the enemy's conspiracies aimed at re-establishing and reviving the takfiri currents such as Daesh.
Fifth: We ask all Islamic countries to support resistance which is embodied in Palestine and Lebanon.
Sixth: We urge work to revive the common Islamic identity and return to Islamic values
Seventh: We demand that everyone reject the normalization and with the enemies of the Islamic nation.
Eighth: We emphasize combating occupation, state terrorism and provoking wars
Ninth: We affirm the rejection of any kind of insult to the symbols of other denominations and religions, and we affirm that this is a new type of conspiracy that is being hatched against the unity of the Islamic Ummah.
Tenth: We affirm that Al-Quds is the capital of Palestine and that Al-Aqsa Mosque is the first Qiblah that is neither permissible nor can any Muslim abandon it in any case, and we believe that it will return to the Islamic nation
In conclusion, once again, we call on all our brothers and sisters in the Islamic world to express openly the rejection of all kinds of normalization, and we also affirm the need to support the Palestinian people in their march of resistance and the axis of resistance in confronting the plots of US imperialism and Zionism, until the liberation of the last inch of Muslim lands such as Azerbaijani and on top of it is holy mosque of Al-Aqsa, and this is the great religious, belief, ethical and civilizational duty that will not be limited by time or place.
Allah will surely help those who help Him. Indeed Allah is all-strong, all-mighty
