Swedish Islamic Center Condemns Attack on Al-Aqsa Worshippers
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center in Stockholm, Sweden, denounced the Israeli attack targeting worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque and elsewhere in the holy city of Jerusalem al-Quds.
In a statement on Saturday, the center said such a brutal move once again proved the occupying regime’s enmity with the oppressed Palestinian people.
It sympathized with the Palestinian nation and Al-Aqsa worshippers and called on all freedom-seeking people in the world and those advocating human rights to condemn the attack and demand an end to Israeli violent and racist acts against Palestinians.
The statement also wished quick recovery for those injured in the attack.
At least 205 Palestinians were injured at Al-Aqsa and around East Jerusalem al-Quds, notably at Sheikh Jarrah.
The brutal crime has drawn wide-spread condemnation internationally.
