Gathering of Female Palestinian Quran Memorizers in Nablus

A gathering of female Quran memorizers from various Quranic centers of Palestine was held on December 29 in Nablus.


According to Ma’an News Agency, some 120 female Quran memorizers of the country attended the program organized in cooperation with the General Office of Women’s Activities affiliated to the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Palestine.



Speaking at the program, Samar Ghazal, head of the Holy Quran Section of the office, said that the Holy Quran is the Word of God revealed to the holy prophet (PBUH) to guide people and show them the right path.



Ghazal noted that learning the Holy Quran, teaching it and contemplating the verses and meaning of the Divine Book leads to the salvation in the world and the hereafter and brings God’s satisfaction.



The program was organized with the aim of investigating the current activities and objectives of the Quranic centers and taking new approaches to develop the Quran memorization centers, promote their activities and solve their problems.



The Holy Quran Section of the office holds educational courses for female Quran memorizers of the country in order to train a peerless Quranic generation.
