TEHRAN (IQNA) – Head of Iran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization said the organization has begun rendering Quran exegeses into different languages.

Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Mohammadi made the remark earlier this week in a ceremony held in Tehran to unveil a new Japanese translation of the Quran.
He said translation of Quran exegeses has its own difficulties and intricacies, not least because each Quran interpretation has several volumes.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi hoped, though, that by enhancing the efforts that are underway, in the future people speaking different languages can read Quran interpretations in their own language.
“We should help Muslims in the world to acquire more knowledge and awareness about the Quran and benefit from the sublime teachings of this Divine book,” he stated.
The Tarjoman-e Vahy (translation of Revelation) Cultural Institute, affiliated to Iran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, has published the new Japanese translation of the Quran.
Tatsuichi Savada, a graduate of Razavi Islamic University and Al-Mustafa International University, has done the rendering.
He has used genuine Islamic sources and the Hadiths of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in translating the Quran into Japanese.
The Tarjoman Vahy Institute’s scholars are also working on translation of the Quran into a number of other languages.
