The conference is slated to be held on October 19-21 with a focus on social and religious developments in the region and world.
The theme of the event is the "Responsibility and Role of Religious Leader and Thinkers in Promoting Peaceful Coexistence and Preventing Violence an Extremism”.
Prominent religious leaders of Zimbabwe as well as envoys and guests from a number of African countries will take part in the conference.
The International Center for Interfaith Dialogue, affiliated to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, and a number of religious and scholarly institutes in Harare, Zimbabwe’s capital, will cooperate in holding the conference.
The capital city’s Arrupe College will host the interfaith dialogue conference.
