Mohammad Khodadi, the Press Deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance said they are from countries like Russia, the US, China, Japan, Nigeria, Pakistan, Australia, Afghanistan, the Netherlands, Armenia, Lebanon, Kuwait, France, Germany, South Korea and Syria.
He said Japan has the highest number of correspondents covering the elections in Iran, followed by France, Qatar, Italy and the US.
The 13th presidential election in Iran will be held simultaneously with council and midterm parliamentary and Assembly of Experts elections on Friday.
After Mohsen Mehralizadeh dropped out of the race on Wednesday, six candidates are running for president.
