Missions of Divine Prophets

TEHRAN (IQNA) – After being appointed to prophethood, messengers of God are given missions that should be carried out in full.

Some of the missions of divine prophets are as follows:

1- Inviting people to monotheism.

2- Fighting against Shirk (polytheism).

3- Fighting against Taghut (one who trespasses the limits in committing sins and evil).

4- Saving the oppressed and the deprived.

5- Upholding religious values and rituals.

6- Judgment based on the truth and justice.

7- Inviting people to goodness.

8- Preventing people from evil.

9- Tazkiyah (helping people to purify the self) and Ta’leem (education).

10- Upholding justice.

11- Confronting wrong and harmful traditions and customs.
